Instructor - Automotive Service Management

Cincinnati State invites applications for the position of Instructor – Automotive Service Management. The position is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position providing classroom instruction for a variety of college-level automotive courses taught entirely in-person on our Clifton campus. Faculty are expected to provide high-quality instruction using experiential learning techniques and strive to improve student learning experiences.

Working with departmental colleagues, the instructor will share responsibility for course and curriculum design, establishment and maintenance of academic standards, and recruitment of new students. The instructor is also required to maintain a working relationship with industry partners and community constituents to promote the Kenwood Dealer Group School of Automotive Technology at Cincinnati State, as well as to stay current in trends and workforce needs within the region.

USD 290 - Ottawa, Kansas

USD 290 - Ottawa, Kansas is recruiting for a High School Auto Mechanics Teacher. This is a 183 day contract (August to May) with classes taught in the CTECH facility at Ottawa High School. Current, valid Kansas Teaching License required.

Coursework to include teaching students basic automotive skills, body repairs and maintenance, etc.

Salary will be based on education and experience. Starting salary is $46,737 prt year. Applicant must be appropriately endorsed or be eligible to obtain the appropriate endorsement for this position. Additional coaching and advisory positions may be available for the successful applicant.

Non-licensed applicants wanting to enter the teaching field may be eligible to participate in alternative pathways to licensure programs while working for the District.

BVSD – CTE Automotive Service Teacher

Boulder Valley School District is recruiting for a CTE Automotive Service Teacher. This is a limited-term position starting January 2026 with classes taught in the Apex program.

A current, valid Colorado Teaching License with a CTE Transportation Operations endorsement is required, or the applicant must be eligible to obtain the endorsement. ASE or NATEF certification is required. ASE Master Technician certification preferred.

Coursework includes teaching students automotive service, repair, maintenance, safety procedures, and related industry skills. Position will also support the SkillsUSA chapter and the program advisory committee.

Salary is based on district placement according to education and experience. BVSD does not negotiate salaries. Benefits are available to eligible employees.

Applicants must pass a background check. Additional screenings may be required by the district.
