Dear NACAT Members,
It is hard to believe that “The Automotive Educator Conference” co-hosted by NACAT and California Automotive Teachers (CAT) wrapped up over a month ago. Hopefully the connections you made along with the top-notch instruction you received will serve you well when your classes fire up again.
I’d like to thank all of you for making this conference an overwhelming success. We had over 100 first-time attendees, which I believe is a record for NACAT. I really enjoyed meeting many of you and look forward to seeing you in future Roundtables that NACAT will be hosting throughout the year. Watch for email announcements and don’t forget to submit your ideas for future Roundtables.
I would be remiss in my duties if I didn’t take this opportunity to thank our Business Manager, Heather Sebben, and her amazing team at H&A for putting all this together. I would also like to express my thanks to the rest of the NACAT Board for your hard work behind the scenes.
The Board will be reviewing all the conference surveys to help ensure continued successful events in the future. Your input makes a big difference, and we appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we did. We are better together, and our goal is to help you improve as an automotive educator.
I look forward to joining with you in Nashville, Tennessee for the 2027 Automotive Educator Conference hosted by NACAT! Have a great start to the new school year!
